Technology Description

 1)Bisco Seedtec is in research, production and marketing of hybrid seeds of various crops like corn, pearl millet, sorghum, sunflower, paddy, forage sorghum and vegetables.

 2)Bisco seedtec is in corn genetics for 29 years. Bisco seedtec is testing more than 500 hybrids in corn and several bisco's hybrids are in advanced government trials.

 3)Over years BISCO has created top class genetic material in corn and collected good amount of germ plasm in pearl millet, sorghum, sunflower & vegetables.

 4)Yellow corn hybrid, Kohinoor is identified and released by Government on India for zone - IV & zone V after five years of initial and Advanced trials.

 5)Sorghum Sudan Grass Hybrid --- SSG - 1001 has undergone 5 years of initial and advanced trials and is in process for release by Government of India.

 6)Controlling the quality of the seed material is of prime importance and takes an important aspect at Bisco.

 7)The following machineries are used in our processing plants for seed processing: Seed cleaners, Gravity Tables, De stoners, Treating Machine, Filling Machine, Stitching Lines, Driers, Shellors.

 8)In addition to good processing methods, Bisco tests its seeds at its seed testing Laboratories. Strict control over the seed quality has enabled Bisco to produce and market superior quality of seed to the satisfaction of the farmers.
